There are no time commitments that we enforce. All pilots are welcome here, no matter your timezone or skill. There are no qualifications required to fly with us, however, if you are interested in being a part of the group and partaking in the 414th's operations, then you will have to fulfill the requirements below:
-Complete our qualifications training which is divided into two phases, Initial Qualification Training and Mission Qualification Training (IQT/MQT).
-Mandatory Attendance is not a requirement. IRL will always come first.
-Don't be a dick
For those that display interest in joining our ranks, a "Trainee" role will be granted and we will develop you further so that you too will be one of us!
The [414th] tag designates you as an active member of the 414th Joint Fighter Group. Be mindful of your conduct in the multiplayer servers as any negative actions such as team-killing, griefing, and verbal abuse are high visiblity offenses to any server admin. As such, server admins are likely to reach out and inform the staff. First time offenses are followed by a warning. Follow on and major offenses are treated on a case-by-case basis and will likely result in the revocation of your wings and ban from future 414th events.

Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: Yes, all members need to be over the age of 18.
Q: What level of experience is expected?
A: We expect you to be able/willing to learn your jet through self-study and have a minimal level of competency with DCS multiplayer. Our Instructors are there to guide you in the right direction, but have lives and value their time.
Q: Is there mandatory attendance or activity?
A: No, we're a casual squadron, real life will always come first, however, we expect new-joiners to participate and join in on activities, otherwise what's the point of joining a squadron?
Q: What airframes can I fly?
A: We welcome F/A-18, F-16, F-15, F-14, A-10 and rotary pilots. We do recommend you focus on a single airframe to become proficient at its systems and be able to participate in events and operations without feeling unprepared or not up to the task at hand.
Q: What squadrons does the 414th have?
A: We currently support 6 squadrons. 40th TFS "Voodoos" flying the F-16C, 44th NOS "Wizards" flying the F/A-18C, 414th TFS "Phantom Eagles" flying the F-15C and F-15E, VF-29 "Fightin' Fellas" flying the F-14, 14th FBS "Bulldogs" flying the A-10C II and 41st RAS "Rats" flying rotary assets. On top of this we also have an operation support division which covers additional services and roles such as AWACS/GCI/ATC/JTAC.
Q: What time zone do you fly?
A: Operations and events are organized around 20:00 - 21:00 EST.
Q: Do you have your own server(s)?
A: Yes, we host our own servers which are available to members only.
Q: What are my options for joining the 414th?
A: You can join as a member, meaning you're interested and committed to becoming a member of the 414th and passing your IQTs/MQTs to obtain your wings! You'll be sorted into one of our squadrons and guided through the training pipeline at your own pace. You'll also gain full access to the discord and our private training server.
